The Earth Bestows
Art Exhibit, Exhibition Opening, & Panel Discussion
Perennial Perspectives in the Arts
From love and devotion to mucking with Earth, artists from Kansas to Maine gathered selections of their work for a month-long exhibition at All Souls Interfaith Gathering in Shelburne, Vermont, in October 2021 that explored the fertile and fraught human relationships with our living Earth.
The artists in the exhibit and on the Creative Arts community partner panel discussion are affiliated with New Perennials, a long term project exploring the restorative powers of perennial thought and action in the creative arts as well as food systems, education, healing arts, and sacred practice traditions. The artists share observations and reverence of living as well as giving witness to the many ways the Earth bestows.
The Exhibit opened with a reception that kicked off the month long Perennial Harvest Days.
